Mrs. Anna Florence Gries, widow of Adam F. Gries, died suddenly early this morning at her home in Webster Street exactly a month after the death of her husband. She was aged 63 years.
Mrs. Gries died as her husband did on December 7. She was stricken seriously ill early this morning an lived only several hours.
She was a member of General Todd Council, Sons and Daughters of Liberty.
She is survived by two sons and two daughters, Mrs. Frank Bear, and John Gries, both of Carlisle; Maynard, at home, and Mrs. Florence Graham, Philadelphia, and these brothers and sisters, Willis Baker, Mechanicsburg; Aquilla Baker, New Kingstown; Mrs. Jerome Foulk, Steelton, and Mrs. Levi Kiehl, Waynesboro.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon from the home. Burial will be in the Kutz's Cuhrch (sic) Cemetery. Rev. Dr. Ira S. Ernst will officiate. Friends may call Thursday evening at the home.

Funeral services for Mrs. Anna (sic) Florence Gries who died Tuesday were held this afternoon from her home on Webster Street. Rev. Dr. Ira S. Ernst officiating. Burial was in the Kutz Church Cemetery. Pallbearers were James Prescott, Leroy Spence, Norman Leaphart, George Blosser, Jacob James and George A. Yeager.
