Alverico Cicioni, 611 E. Center St., Shenandoah, died Saturday afternoon at the Locust Mountain Hospital. He was a retired grocer and importer of Italian foods. Cicioni was born in Italy, the son of the late Dominica and Gracamo Cicioni, and served in World War I. He was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Shenandoah, and the American Legion Post 370 of Shenandoah. Surviving are six sons: Albert, this city; Jack, Frackville; Alfred, Ringtown; Frank, Victor and John Cicioni, Shenandoah; and two daughters: Mrs. Victor (Connie) Romanello, Beltsville, Md.; and Mrs. Raphael Galinas, Chester. Also surviving are 34 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. The funeral will be held Wednesday from the Oravitz Home for Funerals, 38-40 N. Jardin St., Shenandoah, with burial in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel parish cemetery, Shenandoah.
