Anthony Fralish, age 45, of Berlin, died peacefully on Friday September 29, 2006 at the University Hospital of Madison surrounded by his family.

Tony was born on October 5, 1960 in Berlin the son of Thomas and Linda (Ellis) Fralish.

He was a 1979 graduate of the Berlin High School and also a graduate of Diesel Truck Driving School of the Fox Valley Technical College of Appleton. He held various jobs in his younger years and later met his future wife, Linda Schmid, in 1983. They were married on July 1, 1989 at Saint Joseph's Catholic Church of Berlin. After their marriage they bought a small farm together. With a lot of hard work they turned this farm into their dream horse ranch, Painted Valley Farms. Tony was proud of his horses and referred to them as his children. He had such a great zest for being outdoors and some say his hard work ethic was second to none. He was also well known in the area for his prized muscle cars that he collected and restored.Tony would never let a person pass without saying hi. Some would say he had the greatest gift of gab, as he could turn any stranger into a friend.

He is survived by his wife Linda, his parents, Thomas and Linda Fralish of Deerbrooke, Wis., and his mother and father in law, Elmer and Ann Schmid of Berlin, brothers, Greg (Angie) Fralish of Berlin, Brian (Veronica) Fralish of Markesan, his brother in laws, Dan Schmid of Berlin, Larry (Staci) Schmid of Berlin, and Jeff Schmid of Texas, his sister, Paula (Eric) Tschech of Neenah, and sister in law, Debbie (Rich) Mirr of Berlin. He is also survived by nieces, Kaylee, Erika, Danielle, Samantha, Haylie, Leigha, Morgan, Lauren and Molly, and nephews, Preston and Eli.

Tony was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparent, his uncle, Ralph Fralish, and Aunt's Lucille Bissman and Eleanor Bailey.

Cremation had taken place and a memorial gathering was be held on Saturday October 7, 2006 from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Wiecki-Skipchak Funeral Home of downtown Berlin for family and friends with a Memorial Service held at the Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Jerome Maksvytis officiating.

Tony always said, "Live today like it was your last because you may never know if you will be here tomorrow".

Sigh...another Berlin High School classmate.
