Uniontown PA Morning Herald, Saturday, February 26, 1977:
MUMAW, DAVID --- Age 78 years of 94 Collins Ave., Uniontown, formerly of Dearth, Pa., died Friday, February 25, 1977, in the Uniontown Hospital. He was born in Hecla, Pa., August 24, 1898, and was the son of the late John L. and Sarah Ellen Harrison Mumaw. He was a former member of the Harbor Light Chapel. He was predeceased by his wife, Lena Blystone Mumaw, February 16, 1957, and two brothers, Albert and John (Rusty). Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Minnie Collins, New Salem, and Mrs. Elizabeth Squires, Uniontown, with whom he made his home; and a brother, James, State of Georgia. Friends will be received in the Dearth Funeral Home, New Salem, today 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday until 1 p.m., the hour of service. Rufus Peer, Minister, will officiate. Interment in Lafayette Memorial Park.

(Note: No mention above of siblings Mary Watson, Margaret Lewis and William Mumaw, who predeceased him.)
