In her free time, Donna enjoyed clipping pictures, articles, and recipes from the newspapers, baking the best chocolate cakes, and playing cards with her grandson, James. It was also never rare to see her exquisite antiques in the fair or Donna tying her bread bags in knots when sending baked goods home with anyone. What brought her the greatest joy, however, was spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Donna will always be remembered for her intuitive memory of individuals birthdays and anniversaries, but most of all for her kind and gentle spirit.
Survivors include her husband. Carl; 9 children, Gary (LoAnn) Boesch, Sherrie (Ken) Schaefer, Sandy Schnuell, Randy (Kathy) Boesch, Candy (Matt) Gehl, Terry (Sara) Boesch, Barb (Paul) Price, Ken Boesch, and Karen (Brad) Hernke; 25 grandchildren, Dave Boesch, Kelly (Bill) Biese, AJ (Cassie) Boesch, Erin (Mike) Nett, Tara (Nick) Bennin, Mathew (Cassie) Schaefer, Jake (Jenny) Schnuell, Kayla (Adam) Raquet, Ben (Samantha) Boesch, Chad (special friend, Marissa Lannbrecht) Boesch, Andy (Connie) Gehl, Nathan Gehl, Matt (Samantha) Gehl, Josh (Nikki) Gehl, Angela (Tom) Breunig, Clint (Candace) Gehl, Kelsey Boesch, Kaitlyn (special friend, Chase Owens) Boesch, Kayde Boesch, James Sweere, Josh Sweere, Nathan Price, Keenan Hernke, and Emma Hernke; 26 great-grandchildren and one on the way; two sisters, Diane (Clayt) Schaffer and Dawn (Mike) Mathis; a brother-in-law, Art (Bev) Boesch; a sister-in-law, Mary (Bill) Schomburg; and many other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, Donna was preceded in death by her in-laws, Carl (Ida) Boesch ; infant daughter, GayLynn Boesch; son-in-law, Roy Schnuell ; and a granddaughter, Terrie Zirbel.
Funeral Services will be at 11:00am on Saturday, March 26, 2016 at Wieting Family Funeral Home (411 W. Main Street) in Chilton with the Rev. Joel Brassfield officiating. Entombment will be in Knollwood Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home from 9:00am to 10:45am on Saturday.
A memorial fund has been established in the name of Donna M. Boesch.
Donna's family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Lisa with Rescare for the care and compassion shown to her.
Remember me, my children through laughter, joy and cheer and do not weep for me in tears. Though I had to part, I will always be in your hearts. So remember me for I'm always at your side in spirit and someday we shall be together once again. With Love, Your Mother
