A mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, November 5 at Our Lady of the Rosary Church in Larose for Thelma Brunet Pierce, 87, a native of Westwego and resident of Cut Off, who passed away on November 2, 2015 at 6:52 p.m.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. till 12 noon service at the church with burial at Our Lady of the Rosary Cemetery.
She is survived by husband of 69 years, Edville Joseph Pierce; son, Michael Pierce (Joy); daughter, Cheryl Wilson (Bill); brother, Melvin Brunet; sister, Leona B. “Sue” Cambre; grandchildren, Mark Pierce, Taylor Pierce, Claire Pierce, Jess Pierce, David Adams, Jill Lasseigne, Ashley Kent, William Wilson, III and Courtney Wilson, 13 great grandchildren and 3 step great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by parents, Rudolph John and Lucille Fonseca Brunet; son, Kenneth Pierce, daughter, Karen Pierce Adams; brothers, Harry, Irvin, Ernest, Raleigh, Edward and Linton Brunet; and sister, Norma B. Ledet.
