Shirley Birkhead Pierce, 94, born in Pennington, NJ on May 17, 1921, passed away Thursday, March 17, 2016. She was the mother of three daughters: the late Patricia Weiner of Freeport, Cumberland, ME, Kathleen Stark of Southport, Brunswick, NC, and Barbara Sittig of Stroudsburg, Monroe, PA; grandmother of four: Amy Stark, Eric Weiner, Michelle Pottle, and Joshua Sittig; great-grandmother of two: Amy and Allyson. She was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, William Birkhead. Wylie-Baxley is in charge of arrangements for cremation.
