Geraldine E. Leitzke, age 85, of Shady Lane Home, Manitowoc, died this
morning, November 10, 1992, at Shady Lane Home.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. on Thursday, November 12, 1992, at St.
John's Lutheran Church, Two Rivers. The Rev. Edward Stelter officiating,
with burial in Pioneer Rest Cemetery, Two Rivers.
She was born in Two Rivers on November 8, 1907, daughter of the late
Peter and Alma Frenz Zinn. She married Emil H. Leitzke on May 9, 1930,
at St. John's Lutheran Church, Two Rivers. He preceded her in death on
January 6, 1979. She worked at both Sentry Foods in Two Rivers and
Schuette's Department Store in Manitowoc, during her lifetime.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Glenn and Vera Mae
Leitzke, Manitowoc; one daughter and son-in-law, Kay and Norman
Pantzlaff, Reedsville; one brother and two sisters-in-law, John and
Wilma Zinn, Two Rivers, Ruth Bethke, Las Vegas, Nev.; one sister and two
brothers-in-law, Wilma Busse, Two Rivers, Herbert Kasten and George
Babich, both of Manitowoc, eight grandchildren, Lynne Schmidt, Gregory
Leitzke, Mark Leitzke, Debra Tennesen, Patrick, Timothy, Kelly and Gina
Pantzlaff; two great grandchildren also survive. She was preceded in
death by two brothers and four sisters.
Friends may call at St. John's Lutheran Church from 11:45 a.m. on
Thursday until the time of services. There will be no visitation at the
Klein and Stangel Funeral Home.
