GROVER, N.C. - Lucile McSwain Randall, 99, of White Oak Manor of Kings Mountain but formerly of Linden Street, passed away Saturday, August 8, 2009, at Cleveland Regional Medical Center.
Born in Cherokee County, S.C., Mrs. Randall was the wife of the late Elmer Clyde Randall and the daughter of the late George Pickney and Ida Ann Mullinax McSwain.
Mrs. Randall worked in the cafeteria at Grover High School and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Grover, where she served in the WMU.
Mrs. Randall is survived by a sister, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Randall was preceded in death by a brother, Paul Moore McSwain, and two sisters, Sarah Alma McSwain Carroll and Marguerite McSwain Johnson.
Interment will follow at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery.
