In WW I , he served in the Canadian Light Horse Battalion. he was one of the first engineers employed by Port Hueneme.
Survivors are his widow Alice, Ventura; two daughters, three sisters Mrs. Mary Copeland Arcadia, Mrs. Hazel Ferguson, Hollywood and Mrs. Isobel Shore Long Beach; and five grandchildren.
Masonic funeral services will be conducted at the Joseph P Rearsdon Funeral Home at 2 pm tomorrow with an officer of the Poinsettia Lodge officiating. Cremation will follow at Ivy Lawn.
