Obituary/Newspaper article--Published Globe and Mail May 6, 1929 page 15-- Found Dead- Bruce Springer, aged 50 years, was found dead at 11 15 o'clock Saturday night in the basement of his residence at 31 Vermont St. P.C. Sullivan (310) had been called by Mrs. Springer to investigate sounds in the basement and found the body. Coroner J. M Casserly investigated and learned that deceased had been in poor health for some time. the remains were removed to the morgue.

Published in the Toronto Star May 6, 1929 page 20. Man's Throat Cut--Coroner Dr. J. M Casserly yesterday investigated the death of Bruce Springer , aged 50, 31 Vermont Ave. and found that death was due to a throat wound. An inquest will not be held.
