He is survived by his wife, Carol V. Prestegard Stevens; a daughter, Christine Diehl of Mansfield; a grandson and his spouse, Steven & Bethany Diehl of Mansfield; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Marvin & Edna Stevens and LaVerne & Mary Stevens, all of Mansfield, Ray & Bev Stevens of Florida, and Charles & Mert Stevens of Appleton, Minnesota; a sister and brother-in-law, Wilma & James Bailey of Arcadia, California; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sam & Lavina Gullickson Stevens; three brothers, infant Charles Stevens, twin brother Leslie Stevens, and Archie Stevens.
Friends may call at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church one hour prior to funeral services to be held Monday at 1:30 p.m. conducted by Pastor George Lambert. Military services will be held in Mansfield Cemetery
