Theresia contracted Rheumatic Fever within the same time frame as her sister Elizabeth. At one point they were hospitalized at the same time as well. Theresia succumbed to Rheumatic Fever several weeks prior to Elizabeth's passing. Theresia's parents could not t afford a headstone so, she is buried in an unmarked grave near her sister.
