Daughter of George W. (b. England) and Ann Messick (b. Butler Co, PA) Hodgson, she married Ernest R. Call, was divorced, lived at 1431 Otter St, Franklin, was a secretary at the Exchange Bank, died in the Franklin Hospital of a cerebral hemorrhage, per death certificate 16775, whose informant was H. C. Sanford of 1413 Buffalo St, Franklin. Buried Feb 20 1946.

Franklin News-Herald, Monday, Feb 18 1946:
Mrs. Alice Hodgson Call, 1431 Otter Street, died in Franklin Hospital at 4:05 am Monday after a very short illness. She was born in Sugarcreek Township, daughter of George W. and Ann Messick Hosgson.

She lived in this area all her life, worked as a secretary in the personal loan department of the Exchange Bank and Trust Company, and was well known to many Franklin residents. She was a member of First Methodist Church, and took an active part in it and the Sunday School work.

Surviving are a brother, William E. Hodgson, Galloway; two sisters, Mrs. H. O. Sanford and Miss Analina Hodgson, Franklin.

Services will be at 2 pm Wednesday with Rev. Dr. Frank S. McKnight officiating, and Buchanan Funeral Home in charge.
