Mrs. Susie B. Ackerman Dies at Her Home on West Gay Street:
Mrs. Susie E. Ackerman died yesterday afternoon at 2 o’clock at her home on West Gay street. She was 76 years old and was the wife of the late Rev. Ackerman. Three sons, John T. Ackerman, Robert Ackermann and Dr. Thos. Ackerman, and three daughters, Mrs. C.B. Marker, Mrs. Geo. Spencer and Miss Ackerman, survive her. Mrs. Ackerman was a member of one of the best known families in the city and was herself a woman of wide acquaintance. The funeral services will be held at Old Beach [sic] Church this morning, conducted by Rev. J.L. Alexander.
