Billie Joy Edwards Husbands was born to Arthur Edwards and Erma Hincks Edwards on the 7th day of February 1930 in the town of Rigby, Idaho.

Her early life was spent in and around Rigby but at age twenty-six she was crowned Miss Idaho, a fact her family discovered while searching through her photographs. She later moved to Salt Lake City and met Curtis Husbands and they were later married.

Billie is survived by one sister, Donna O'Maley, of Idaho Falls, Idaho. She is also survived by her son, Doug (Julie) Husbands-later divorced; and Heidi (Stephanie) Husbands; and the loves of her life, her grandchildren: Hailey, Nathan, and Hunter.

The family would like to thank the staff of Legacy House Assisted Living and the staff of Hospice for Utah, who were so kind to Billie and whom she loved.

Her family is holding a graveside service for her on the 15th of April at 12:00 p.m. in the Farmington City Cemetery. All who come are invited to share their favorite story of Billie as she was a kind, adventurous grandma, mom, and sister.
