Boomer was a constant companion of Robert & Rosemary Kolanda. He lived in the country on 5 acres of land and traveled back and forth to California every couple of years. He also visited his brother Shadow and sister Talulah frequently. He was loved and will be missed very much.

Do not stand at my grave and weep;
I am not there, I do not sleep,
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sunlight on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn's rain,
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
of quiet birds in circled flight,
I am the soft stars that shine at night,
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there, I did not die.

Your love was unconditional,
Faithful above them all,
Forever glad to see me,
You always ran to my call.
Although you had to leave me,
I know that you will wait,
You'll wag your tail to greet me,
When I come through Heaven's gate.
