Veda L.(Carney) Campbell, 81, of Louisville, went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, March 29, 2009. Born on January 25, 1928.
She was retired from Seagram's Distillery, a member of Southeast Christian Church and the J-Town Senior Citizens' Club.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Moorman Bell; her second husband, Phil Campbell; and a great-granddaughter, River Bell.
She is survived by a son, Stephen Bell (Kathy); daughters, Judy Hayden (Ken) and Pam Jackson (Danny); a sister, Betty Nungesser; grandsons, Jeff and Jason Joiner and Joedy and Travis Bell; and great-grandsons, Joseph and Hank.
Her Celebration of Life service will be held noon Thursday, April 2, 2009 with burial to follow at the Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Wednesday and after 9 a.m. Thursday.
