Orville W. Steibel, 68, of 710 4th St., Kiel, died early Sunday morning of an apparent heart attack. He was pronounced dead on arrival at St. Nicholas Hospital here.

Mr. Steibel was born Nov. 11,1903 at Menasha, son of the late John and Eunice Pohlmann Steibel. He was a 1924 graduate of Neenah High School. On June 14, 1927 he married Ruth Stacker at Neenah. The couple lived at Neenah until moving to Kiel in 1948 where Mr. Steibel operated a Gambles store for eight years. Prior to that, he was employed at the William Krueger Hardware store at Neenah for 27 years. He was employed by Shannon Office Supply for eight years and by Merchandise Sales for four years, both at Appleton. He retired three years ago. Mr. Steibel was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Kiel, the Kiel Lodge 336 of F&AM and ERA at Neenah.

Survivors are his wife, two daughters, Mrs. Eugene (Coralie) Hildebrandt, Kiel, and Mrs. Ronald Schneider, Sheboygan, seven grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Meiselwitz Funeral Home, Kiel The Rev. Allen Bowe, pastor of First Presbyterian Church will officiate in combined services with the Masonic Lodge. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Neenah.
