Obituary: Rockland: Mrs Nina Beverage, 77, widow of Clarence Beverage, died in a Bangor Hospital Wednesday after a long illness. She was born in Rockland May 10, 1883, the daughter of Obadiah & Cora Sherman Gardner. Her father was appointed to the U S Senate in 1911. She always lived in Rockland except when her husband was associated with the State Welfare Dept and they made their home in Augusta for a few years.
Mrs Beverage assisted in the organization of the Nature Club and the Rockland Garden Club. She formerly taught school in Rockland and was a member of the Universalist Church. She is survived by one brother, Albert K Gardner, of Orono, one nephew and two nieces.
