Stefanina (Napolitano) Acierno, 87, of Hampton, died Friday, Feb. 24, 2012, in Sunrise of McCandless, Pittsburgh. She was born Jan. 8, 1925, in Italy, to the late Stefano and Caralla (Accata) Napolitano. Mrs. Acierno enjoyed vegetable gardening, cooking and taking care of her grandchildren. She is survived by her daughter, Maria Acierno, of Hampton; son, Steve Acierno, of Ross; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sister, Funtuna Scotti, of Morningside; and her brother, Carmine Napolitano, of Italy. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Felice Acierno, who passed away Oct. 26, 1997; her brother, Felice Napolitano; and her sister, Antonietta Napolitano.
