Valley Pioneer Dies at Portland
Mrs. Eva Andross,87,died in Portland Tuesday after a long illness.She was the widow of the late Mills Andross who died in 1935.Services will be in Portland.
Mrs. Andross was a member of one of the pioneer families of the Grande Ronde valley.Ladd canyon was named after her father,J.R. Ladd.
Mr. and Mrs. Andross operated one of the largest wheat ranches in the valley before retiring and moving to Portland.
Survivors include one son,Robert,and one daughter,Mrs. Ethel North of Portland.
