Thelma Irene Butler Jones, 78, of 30 Derby Ave., Auburn, died Sunday. She was born in Homer. She worked on assembly at General Electric, Syracuse, for more than 10 years, retiring in 1969. Her husband of 30 years, Edward J. Sr., died in 1992.Survivors: Two daughters, Barbara Champion of Auburn and Lori Jones of Delaware; three sons, Thomas of Queens, Edward J. Jr., of Auburn and Delbert of Locke; a brother, Gerald Butler of Cortland; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
