"William 'Tim' Allen, 86, of Corry, RD 3, died Saturday, April 7, 1984, at the Union City Memorial Hospital. He was born in Spartansburg, Aug 16, 1897, a son of the late Leon and Dimmie Cook Allen. He was retired from the Union City Chair Company. [Mr] Allen is survived by his wife, Margaret; four daughters, Mrs Klahr (Beatrice) Skiff of Spartansburg, Mrs Thomas (Gladys) Stroup of Columbus, Pa, Mrs Fred (Linda) Morris of Erie, and Mrs Thomas (Lois) Labowski of Corry; three sons, William Allen Jr of Atlanta, Ga, Don Allen of Spartansburg, [and] Melvin Rose of Red Oak, Texas; 24 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Hope Bloomfield Allen, who died in 1946. Friends may attend the funeral service today at 2 pm at the Thomas E Morgan Funeral Home, 75 N Main St, Union City, with Rev Barry Weyant and Rev Wohlgemuth officiating. Interment will be in Riceville Cemetery."
