Tootie was born on April 14, 1922 in Union City, PA. Her parents were William "Tim" Allen and Hope Bloomfield Allen.
She lived in the Spartansburg area most of her life, until she moved to California in 2004. She graduated from the Spartansburg High School in the class of 1940 and married Klahr "Spike" Skiff in 1941. He preceded her in death in 203 after 71 years of marriage.
She worked at Aero Supply Mfg in Corry, Pa and at Firth Grocery and US Post Office both in Spartansburg, Pa.
During her retirement years, she lived in Pennsylvania, Florida and lastly in Sierra Madre, California.
Tootie was also preceded in death by her brother Donald L. Allen.
She is survived by her son, Allen and his wife Judy (Orovic) Skiff of Sierra Madre, California; two granddaughters Alison Ravasdy and husband, Doug, and Amy Massino and husband, Tony; and four great-grandchildren, Jack and Megan Ravasdy, and Andrew and Ashley Massino, all reside in Sierra Madre, California. She's also survived by her brother William "Bus" Allen who lives in New Port Richey, Florida.
Services will be held in Spartansburg, Pa, in August 2019.
