Mrs. Julia McManus Aungier, 98, of 164 Kenmore Ave, died Mar. 27 at her home. Born in LaFayette, she had lived in Syracuse for 32 years. Mrs. Aungier graduated from the Syracuse Training School, and taught in the Lafayette School System for 18 years. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Lourdes, and a member of the Altar and Rosary Society. She is survived by her husband, Edward Aungier; by two sons, Bernard Aungier of LaFayette and William Aungier; by a daughter, Mrs. Mary O'Hara; and by 15 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were at Our Lady of Lourdes, where a mass of Christian burial was celebrated by her grandson, the Rev. Michael O'Hara.
