Keith Bowers Vorwaller, a Nephi resident for the past several years, died Oct. 8, 2002, in the VA Hospital in Salt Lake City.

He was born in Nephi, Utah, Mar. 26, 1926, to Mathew Bowers and Iola McClaus Bowers. His father died and he was raised by his mother and step-father in Erda, Utah.

Keith served in the Army, Marines and Air Force. He earned a Masters Degree in Geology from the University of Utah and worked for the State of Utah.

He is survived by 2 daughters and a son, Kathleen Loeny of Salt Lake City, Robin Rhoadf of Roy, and Douglas (Karen) Vorwaller of Portland, Oregon; 8 grandchildren; a brother, Richard of Idaho; 2 half-sisters and a half-brother, Ileen and Gail of Tooele, and Timothy Bowers-Irons of Nephi/St. George.

Graveside services were held in Tooele on Oct. 11, 2002.
