A memorial celebration for ANANAIS "BUDDY" JOHNSON, JR., (69), will be held 1:30PM on Saturday, July 25, 2009 at Macedonia Baptist Church, 145 Prevost Rd.- Ashton, LA. Rev. Ulysses Mitchell will be officiating.
Visitation will be from 12 noon to 4PM Friday, July 24, 2009 at Journet & Bolden Funeral Home Chapel, 711 S. Corinne Street, New Iberia, LA.
Ananais was a native of Four Corners, LA and a past resident of Weeks Island, LA but has been residing in Neco Town for the past 40 years. He passed away on Sunday, July 19, 2009 at Iberia Medical Center following a long illness. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ananais and Rosabelle Johnson, Sr.
Ananais leaves to cherish many wonderful memories his wife, Jenella M. Roberts-Johnson of Neco Town, LA; five children, Terrence Johnson, Joycelyn (Darrell) Banks, and Sheila Ann Johnson, all of Houston, TX, Peerless Roberts of Neco Town, LA and Felton L. Roberts of Baldwin, LA; three siblings, James (Dorothy) Johnson of Houston, TX, Rena (Eli) Phillips Angellee "Ann" (Rev Francis) Davis, both of Neco Town, LA; three grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
