Age 84, daughter of Cologero Licato and Carmella Rose Scofano Licato.

She was a graduate of Academy High School and continued her education as a Certified Nurse's Assistant, and later in years as an Administrative Assistant at Abington Crest Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, where she retired after 18 years of service. Mary was a member of the Ladies Wolf Auxiliary, secretary of the Italian- American Women's Association, past board member of the St. Martin Center, member of the Blue Army Choir, served as a Eucharistic Minister, and was a member of the rosary prayer group at Our Lady of Peace Catholic church.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 52 years, Joseph DiGiorgio; an infant son, Anthony Joseph DiGiorgio; two sisters, Rosalie Siggia and Rose Martini; two brothers, Paul Licato, Sr. and Joseph Licato; a nephew, John Siggia; and a niece, Dina DiGiorgio.

Mary is survived by two daughters, Denise Sanfratello (Emanuel-"Nello") and Doreen Welch (John). She is the aunt of Charles Siggia (Antonina), Paul Licato, Jr., Joseph Martini (Diane), Charles Martini, Charles Licato, Carol Siggia, Elizabeth DiGiorgio, Darrah Johnson, and Rosalie Lanning (Bob); great-nieces and nephews; and a brother-in-law, Dr. Anthony DiGiorgio (Gale).

Burial in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
