Chloe Stevens was born in Bastard, Leeds, Ontario, Canada on June 18, 1838.
She was a daughter of Henry Stevens and Mary Ann Lowe.
She married Andrew Jackson "Jack" Allred on November 3, 1855.
Seven children were born to Jack and Chloe. They were:
1. Luzernia Allred, born April 17, 1857.
2. James Lafayette Allred, born March 16, 1859.
3. Daniel Henry Allred, born October 8, 1861.
4. Martin Warren Allred, born June 18,1864.
5. Andrew Jackson Allred, born February 10,1867.
6. Nancy Cuma Allred born February 10, 1879.
7. Elizabeth Ann Allred, born May 9, 1872.
Five months after her last child, Elizabeth Ann was born, Chloe died at the age of thirty-four on October 22, 1872.
The following year in July 1873, Andrew Jackson "Jack" Allred married his second wife, Elizabeth Ivy.
In the spring of 1876 Brigham Young called Jack to settle in Rabbit Valley (Wayne County, Utah) with the Indians and establish a trading post.
He is buried in the Fremont, Utah cemetery.
