Tommy C. Bracey, 77, passed away on Sunday, May 22, 2016.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, May 25, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. at Perry United Methodist Church. Interment will be in Perry Memorial Gardens immediately following the service. The family will visit with friends on Tuesday, May 24, 2016, from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the Bracey's home.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial contributions to Serenity Hospice, 1057 North Houston Lake Road, Warner Robins, GA 31093.

Mr. Bracey was born in Nashville, Tennessee. He graduated from Tennessee Polytechnic Institute with a degreee in Electrical Engineering. He retired after 38 years as an Electrical Engineer with Rural Electrification Administration USDA. Mr. Bracey was subsequently employed as the General Manager of Canoochee Electric Membership Corporation in Reidsville, Georgia. Having lived in Valdosta and Glennville through the years, he had lived in Perry for the past 10 years and was a member of Perry United Methodist Church and the Howell-Cobb Sunday School Class.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Richard Bracey, Sr. and Lela Maude Felts Bracey.

Left to cherish the memories of Tommy are his loving and devoted wife of 33 years, Faye Bracey of Perry; his children, Christen LeGette (Bob) of Marion, South Carolina, Charles A. Bracey (Doris) of Clearwater, Florida, Holley Jones of Atlanta, and John D. Jones, IV (Angela) of Valdosta; his siblings, Faye Whitson (Bill) of Franklin, Tennessee, Frances Pilkington of Nashville, Tennessee, Franklin D. Bracey (Anne) of Franklin, Tennessee, and Patsy Loos (Bob) of Phoenix, Arizona; his grandchildren, Tony Bracey, Daniel Bracey, Richard Bracey, Caroline Howard, Austin Jones, and Nicholas Bracey; and many nieces and nephews.
