Pauline Abrons
January 27, 1914 - September 18, 2006

On Monday, September 18, 2006, the loving hand of God compassionately called PAULINE ABRON to be with him. She was the daughter of the late Johnny and Roxie Burnett, born January 27, 1914 in Palmyra, North Carolina.

Pauline was educated in the North Carolina school system. She met and married her late husband and childhood sweetheart, Lucious Abron, and moved to Baltimore, Maryland in January, 1934. Seven children were born from this union, Lucious Abron, Jr. (deceased), Timothy Abron, Marie Wells, Amye Williams (deceased), Jerry Abron (deceased), Roxie Tinson and Pauline Abron.

Pauline was an immaculate homemaker. She enjoyed her independence. She loved doing things with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed beautiful clothes and loved shopping for them. Pauline loved the latest fashions. She will be sincerely missed by friends, relatives and her church family. At the time of her demise, she was the oldest member of The Star of Bethlehem. She enjoyed going to church until she became incapacitated. She loved gospel music. This is a new beginning in her life with the Lord, so let's celebrate and cherish her memory. She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother and will be truly missed by all of us.

She leaves to mourn: three daughters, Marie, Roxie, and Pauline; one son, Timothy; and a devoted granddaughter, Pauline Bastfield, who she raised as her own daughter; three sons-in-law, Bouth Wells Jr., Lawrence Tinson and Fred Williams; two daughters-in-law, Rebecca Abron and Sarah Abron; two sisters, Mother Alice Phillip of Baltimore, Md. and Dillie Staton of North Carolina. Pauline also leaves to mourn Pauline's husband, Larry Bastfield who welcomed her into his family and home with Nija and Little Larry for over fourteen years. She also leaves to mourn twenty-two grandchildren, twenty-seven great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren and a faithful, loving friend for many years, Maybelle Butler.
