According to the Faylene Hutton Cemetery records of Maine, Daniel, his wife, Charlotte and three infant children are buried in this cemetery.

He married Charlotte Rogers on November 2, 1817 in Eastham, Massachusetts.

Daniel served in the War of 1812.

Their children were:

Charlotte Amanda Farrington 1818-1887.She married Dr. Charles Morris Blake who took the family out to San Francisco during the Gold Rush. He served in the Civil War as a Chaplain and became well-known.Their daughter, Charlotte Blake Brown became one of the first womman physicians and a leader in setting up new medical clinics and was to become a famous doctor. Charlotte and Charles Blake died in San Francisco. Burial locations unknown.

Abigail Arey Farrington 1826-1887.

Daniel Farrington 1828-1896.Married Elizabeth Silsbee. He came to Grass Valley, California, during the Gold Rush in 1851 but later returned to his farm.

Ellen Rogers Farrington 1832-1854.

Emma Winslow Farrington 1837-1916. Married Francis
Southworth.

Rosina Farrington 1829-1895.She went out to Grass Valley, California about 1851( probably traveled out with brother, Daniel, who came that time to Grass Valley) and was the first teacher in that gold-mining town. She also became the first bride there when she married Jeremy Phillips Stone on August 31, 1852. He came out from Massachusetts during the Goldrush.
