Racing Car Driver. Born in Italy, he moved to Argentina at age 16, where he began his career first racing motorcycles and later cars. He competed in several categories and his finest hour came with the triumph at the 1964 Rheims 12 Hours sharing his Porsche 904 GTS with Nasif Estéfano. On October 4th, 1970 he had a terrific accident at the Las Flores racetrack which left him tetraplegic for the rest of his life. In 1996 he co-wrote his autobiography "Un hombre es siempre un hombre" (with Germán Sopeña).
