Robert was born September 12, 1912 in the Town of Franklin son of the late George
and Mary (Braun) Wellner. On August 28, 1941 he married the former Carol Mueller
at St Michaels Catholic Church in Whitelaw. She preceded him in death on March 30, 1986.
Robert was a member of St. Michaels Catholic Church, Holy Name Society, Farm
Bureau and the Catholic Knights.
Survivors include his eleven children: Robert (Shirley) Wellner Jr., Mishicot; David Wellner,
Manitowoc; Larry Wellner, Whitelaw; Bonnie Wellner, Manitowoc; Madonna Wellner,
Manitowoc; Daisy Wellner, Manitowoc; Stanley (Lora) Wellner, Kellnersville; Scott
Wellner, Pulaski; Daniel Wellner(Vicki), Kellnersville; Lori (Steve) Ignera, Manitowoc;
Sarah (Paul) Schwoerer, Cato; 19 grandchildren: Randy (Reneen) Wellner; Wendy (Chad)
McMullen; Tracy (Tim) Strupp; Todd (Lisa) Wellner; Toby Wellner; Heidi (Terrance)

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, March 23, 2013 at St. Michaels
Catholic Church, Whitelaw. Rev. Dave Zimmerman will celebrate the Mass of Christian
Burial. Burial will follow at St. Michaels Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call on at the
church on Saturday from 9:00 am until the time of mass at 11:00am. The Reinbold & Pfeffer
