Prayers will be said for Gertrude C. Borre (nee Wellner), 82, at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, at Ahlgrim & Sons Funeral Home, 415 South Buesching Road, Lake Zurich. Mass will follow at 11 a.m., at St. Francis de Sales Church, 11 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich. Born March 21, 1918, in Whitelaw, Wis., she died Saturday, Feb. 3, 2001, in Barrington. Interment will be in All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines. She was a member of St. Francis de Sales Keenagers. She is survived by her husband, George P. Borre ; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Joseph Indian School, North Main Street, Chamberlain, SD 57326 or Divine World Missionaries, Techny, IL 60082.
