Mrs. Chapman was born in Douglas, Mo., and moved to Yakima in 1937. She worked for Crystal Linen for several years before her retirement.
Survivors include two daughters, Donna Englund of Yakima and Mary L. Matthews of Vancouver, Wash.; a nephew whom she raised, Ron Hayes of Fort Worth, Texas; seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
A graveside funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Terrace Heights Memorial Park. Those wishing to attend should meet at the cemetery. Visitation will begin at noon today and will continue until the time of service. Shaw and Sons Funeral Directors, Yakima, is in charge of arrangements.
