Services for Blanche Burkhart, 75, Chadwick, were held Nov. 5 in the First Baptist Church with the Rev. Robert Daniels and Ivan Tatum officiating. Burial was in Chadwick Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Harris Funeral Home, Ozark. Mrs. Burkhart died Nov. 3 in St. John's Regional Health Center, Springfield following a short illness. She was longtime Chadwick area resident and a cook in the Chadwick schools for 12 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Chadwick Extension Club. Survivors include her husband, Basil; two sons, Bill, Rogersville, and Larry, Chadwick; a daughter, Delores Miller, Chadwick; four sisters, Cora Moore, Sparta, Bessie Hays, Ozark, Media Chapman, Selah, Wash., and Edia Durbin, Vancouver, Wash.; 16 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren.
