Patricia Kennedy Schmidlapp, of Palm Beach, Florida, passed away Sunday, September 6, 2015.

She was born on December 21, 1917 in Pawhuska Oklahoma, daughter of the late Maybelle and Edmund Kennedy, who was the founder and President of National Bank of Commerce in Oklahoma.

Her mother Maybelle was the Assistant Treasurer of the United States under President Truman, Ambassador to Guatemala and sits on the Oklahoma Hall Of Fame. Mrs. Schmiddlapp attended Smith College in Northampton, Massachusetts and Notre Dame de Sion in Paris, France. She drove an ambulance for the Red Cross during WWII and continued her love for the Red Cross by sitting on the Board of Directors and chairing many events including; entertaining Ambassadors from many countries that were attending the Red Cross Ball.

She was very active in political events including; serving as Palm Beach County Committee Woman, Co-chairman of the Finance Committee for the Reagan/Bush Campaign along with numerous other political campaigns, organization and other events too many to name.

Mrs. Schmidlapp was a member of The Junior League and the Garden Club of Tulsa Oklahoma. She was also a longtime member of the Bath and Tennis Club and the Everglades Club of Palm Beach, Florida.

She was preceded in death by her first husband; Frank Grant McClintock, who was in oil and banking in Tulsa, Oklahoma and later had been elected to be President of Augusta National and W. Horace Schmidlapp from Cincinnati, who was also a banker and producer of Broadway shows and four sisters and a brother.

Mrs. Schmidlapp is survived by three children; Patricia McClintock Hilton of Palm Beach, Florida, F. Grant McClintock of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Victoria (Harry) Korshak of London, England, four grandchildren; Conrad N. Hilton III, Michael Otis Hilton, Alexander Korshak and Charlotte Korshak and five great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, September 18, 2015 at 1:00PM at Bethesda by the Sea Episcopal Church, 141 S. County Rd. Palm Beach, Florida 33480. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Red Cross of Palm Beach in Mrs. Schmidlapp's memory.
