Mrs. Crowder
Anna Roberts Crowder, 88, Hardin Estates, Lenoir City, died Sunday, Feb. 7, at Loundon County Memorial Hospital.
Survivors are her husband, Tom Crowder; son, Rev. Douglas Crowder, Zaire, Africa, daughters, Mrs. Edward (Gretchen) Harvey, Rockwood, Mrs. Henry (Gorda) Singletary, Wilmington, N.C.; nine grandchildren; three great grandchildren; brothers, Elmo Roberts, Crossville, Gilmore Roberts of Ohio; sister, Mrs. John (Rachel) Donelson, Sanford Fla.; and several nieces and nephews. She was a member of Central United Methodist Church, Matrons' Sunday School Class and Farragut O. E. S. No 459 and taught in the Roane and Knox county school systems for over 20 years.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, Feb. 9, at Click's Chapel with Rev. Jerry B. Fleenor officiating. Graveside service and interment were Wednesday morning, Feb. 10, at the Oak Grove Cemetery in Rockwood.
