Josephine Olszewski, 75, of Montrose, PA passed away, Monday, June 6, 2016 at Wilson Memorial Regional Medical Center, Johnson City, NY. Born January 3, 1941 in Scranton, PA, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Josephine M. [Plonsky] Olszewski.
A graduate of Montrose High School and the Ridley Lowell Business and Technical Institute, she was employed by NYS Family Court as a Court Administrator. She was a member of Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church and Altar and Rosary Society of the church.
Survivors include brothers and sisters-in-law, A. Richard & Carol Olszewski of Bath, NY, Stephen J. & Sheri Olszewski of Montrose, PA, Walter J. & Regina Marie Olszewski of Montrose, PA, nieces and nephews. Services: 9:15 AM Saturday at Bartron-Myer Funeral Home, Montrose, continuing with a 10 AM Mass at Holy Name Of Mary Catholic Church, Montrose, PA 18801. Visitation: 6:00-8:00 PM on Friday at the funeral home. Instead of flowers: memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 712 South Keyser Ave., Taylor, PA 18517.
