Sister Bernadette entered the Congregation of the Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word professing her perpetual vows in 1944. She served in of the Congregation’s education ministry in Louisiana and Texas.
Sister Bernadette is survived and dearly missed by her sisters: Joan Walters and Louise Koehler; by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends in the U.S. and by the Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word.
FUNERAL SERVICES
Funeral Services will be held at the Village of the Incarnate Word, 4707 Broadway. Vigil Service: Sunday, June 12, 2016 at 6:30p.m. Mass of Christian Burial, Monday, June 13, 2016 at 11:00a.m. in the Chapel of the Incarnate Word. Interment in the Convent Cemetery.
