Lelah Edna Agan, 86, of Clinton, died late Sunday evening, July 31, in Oklahoma City after a lengthy illness.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Aug. 3, at 10 a.m. in First Church of God of Clinton, with Pastor Roy Dobbs, minister of the church, officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery of Weatherford under direction of Lockstone Funeral Home of Weatherford.
Born in Illinois on Feb. 11, 1902, Mrs. Agan came to Oklahoma as a small child with her parents and settled northwest of Weatherford. She attended the Union and Pleasant Hill rural schools and grew up in that area.
She married Curtis Agan Jan. 28, 1925, at Custer and they established a home in the Custer City area and farmed there until 1944 when they moved west of Clinton. Mr. Agan died July 9 of this year.
Survivors include two sons, Earl Agan of Clinton and Glenn Agan of Edmond; five grandchildren, Sharilyn, Marsha, Sheila, Pamela and Sandra; five great-grandchildren, Douglas, Nicholas, Kurt, Nolan and Colin; and one brother, Gordon Lundy of Oklahoma City.
Preceding her in death were her husband; parents, Louis James and Mary Lundy; two sisters, Zelda and Jessie; and five brothers, Lawrence, Horace, Carl, Raymond and Lloyd.
