ARLINE KORNELY
After an illness of several months, Mrs. Anton Kornely, 40, a lifelong resident
of the Town of Two Rivers, Rt. 2, Two Rivers, died at Holy Family Hospital,
Manitowoc, Monday afternoon.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at St. Peter Evangelical
Lutheran Church, Mishicot, the Rev. Edward Zell officiating. Burial will be
in the Mishicot Public Cemetery.
Mrs. Kornely, nee Arline Meissner, was born in the Town of Two Rivers Feb. 8,
1917, a daughter of Rudolph and the late Emma Zeddies Meissner. She was married
at Manitowoc on Nov. 26, 1935 to Anton Kornely. She was a member of the
Evangelical Lutheran Church at Rockwood for many years.
Besides her husband and father of Rt. 2, Two Rivers, she leaves a daughter, Mrs.
Robert Schultz of Two Rivers; a son, James Kornely at home; two sisters, Mrs.
Ruben Glishmann and Mrs. Elmer Neubert of Manitowoc: eight brothers, Edwin of
Two Rivers, Henry and Rudolph of Manitowoc; Roland, Harvey and Wilmer of Rt. 2,
Two Rivers, Clarence of Milwaukee and Charles Meissner of Cato, and one grand-
child.
Friends may call at the Klein & Stangel, Inc. Funeral Home, Two Rivers, after
2 p.m. Wednesday until 10 a.m. Thursday when the casket will be taken to the
church where the body will be in state until the time of service.
