Mrs. Wenzel Kouba, 54, died at her home on Two Rivers route 2 at 3:30 p.m.
Wednesday following a stroke.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. from the Specht funeral
home in Mishicot and at 10:30 a.m. from Holy Cross Catholic church in
Mishicot with the Rev. Joseph Van Bogart officiating. Interment will be made
in Holy Cross cemetery.
Mrs. Kouba, nee Agnes Peterka, was born in Czecho-Slovakia on Dec. 31, 1888.
She came to this country in 1904 and on Sept. 28, 1907, was married to Wenzel
Kouba. The couple came to Wisconsin in 1908.
Survivors are the widower; four daughters, Mrs. William Roch, of Lansing,
Michigan, Mrs. Clarence Schneider of Maribel, Mrs. Edwin Wanek of Maribel
route 1, and Miss Elsie at home; five sons, Staff Sergeant James Kouba in
Hawaii, Sergeant Jerry Kouba at Fort Bliss, Texas, Corporal Henry Kouba in
Australia, Joseph of Chicago and Edward at home; and four grandchildren.
The body may be viewed at the funeral home from 7 p.m. Friday and the rosary
will be recited there at 8 p.m. Friday.
