MRS. MARY A. PICKETT
SHELBINA, Mo. — Mrs. Mary Arminta Pickett, 88, of the Pleasant Hill Nursing Home in Shelbyville, died Thursday morning (Jan. 1, 1970) in the home where she had been a resident for one month.
Services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Hayes Funeral Home with the Rev. Allen Bartlett officiating. Burial will be in the Shelbyville cemetery.
Mrs. Pickett was born in Shelby County, May 11, 1881. a daughter of Tandy Gooch [sic] and Virginia Rutter Moore. She was married to John Ray Pickett in 1902. He died May 10, 1923. She was a member of the Shelbina Baptist Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Dean (Mildred) Spalding of Columbia, two brothers, Earl Moore of La Belle and W. C. Moore of Bethel; a granddaughter and two grandsons.
