BEN WHITTINGTON

Ben Whittington and his wife, Floy Wiseman, came to Nolan County about 1936. They lived in Sweetwater and were members of the Presbyterian church. Ben worked for Montgomery Ward. He died in 1974 and is buried in Sweetwater Cemetery. Floy still lives in Sweetwater.

Their children are:

Otto (married Maxine Johnson) was a POW of the Japanese during World War II.

Mildred married Herbert Schleuter and now lives in Odessa, Texas.

Harold married Nilwon Nowlin and leaves near Belton, Texdas.

William lives in California.

Perry, Leonard and Ben Whittington were three of seven children of Kenion and Mary Alice Wiggins of Franklin and Yell Counties of Arkansas.
