CHRISTINE KRONFORST
Mrs. Joseph Kronforst, 81, of Mishicot, died Friday afternoon at the
Two Rivers Municipal Hospital, following a lingering illness.
Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday at the Specht Funeral
Home, Mishicot, and at 10 o’clock at the Holy Cross Catholic Church,
Mishicot. The Rev. George Beth will officiate and burial will be in the
church cemetery.
She was born Christina Seidl in Two Creeks in 1870 and in 1896 was married
to Mr. Kronforst. They located on a farm in Gibson and 31 years ago moved
to Mishicot. Her husband died four years ago. She was a member of the Altar
Society of the Holy Cross congregation.
Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Daniel Fenel of Two Rivers and Mrs. Pascal
Brouchoud of Route 1, Mishicot; brother Frank of Francis Creek; four sisters,
Mrs. Stephen Krajnik, Mrs. Frank Urban, Mrs. Louis Vrancy and Mrs. Charles
Stransky, all of Manitowoc; nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Mishicot funeral home after 7 p.m. Saturday where the
rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Sunday.
