David Beugli came to America from Bern Switzerland. He married Lena Zucher. They had the following children: Katheryn, David, Lena, Aline, August and Charles. They lived in the Silverton area of Marion County. Early cemetery records indicate that David's wife Lena and two of his children are also interred in Lewis Cemetery. David Beugli, Sr is at rest in Lewis Cemetery high atop a hill near Silverton, OR
