Haroldo Moreno born in Cementville, Texas on April 20 1936. He went to school in Premont, TX (Home of the Cowboy) and then moved to San Antonio. He liked being called Harold. He was a humble man with a rare sense of humor. He was a great listener with a heart of gold. Harold loved fishing and drinking Falstaff or Pabst Blue Ribbon. Although he loved deep sea fishing, he did not swim. He was a lucky man, since the boat they were fishing from has capsized a few times. He was also known for collecting caps. His favorite was the Houston Astros. He loved watching baseball. Harold found lots of patience growing up with 5 beautiful sisters. In his sisters eyes he was always the baby brother. He is famous for always having a nickname for everyone, Brown Mama was his great niece and Brown Papa was his grand nephew. He had a name for everyone. Although his only granddaughter, Lindy Marie Perez, was born on his birthday, April 20, 1984, he died 5 months later. Not enough time to enjoy her. Harold married Linda Soto in December, 1957 and had one daughter, Yvonne Christina Moreno Perez, better known as Bonnie on March 8, 1959. Due to a divorce, Harold missed most of his daughter's life until she turned 18. The last few years were great and he is very much missed.
